The Model 25 Trapper outdoors knife by Randall Made Knives is a work of art. The knife is a drop point hunter style knife. It is slightly similar to the Randall Model 11 knife. They come in both 5 and 6 inch blades of 1/4 inch stock. Looking at the handle you can’t help thinking about a 1930 design! The knife can also come in a brass configuration. 
They might be harder to find though.
To allow for a perfect thumb placement, the thumb notches and the top of the hilt are moulded for a comfortable thumb fit. Note that the 5 inch Trapper comes with a cover sheath, and the 6 inch with a Model A sheath. The weight of the Randall Model 25 Trapper is 8 ounces.
The Randall story is interesting. He made his first knife in the summer of 1937. Since then the Randall knives are considered to be the best in the world. And difficult to source. The Randall knives have been have been used quite a bit by soldiers, Marines, aviators, sailors, generals and infantrymen. You choose a Randall knife simply because you need a top of the line crafted knife you can totally depend on in whatever situation you might find yourself in.
